David Hansen performing in an extremely special and intimate concert at the Theatre Royal.
Concert highlights include Carmina Burana with the Berliner Philharmoniker and Sir Simon Rattle, the title-role in Handel's Solomon with Ren Jacobs and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Messiah at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, The Tempest at the Concertgebouw under Markus Stenz, Handel arias with Bernard Labadie and the Melbourne and New World Symphony Orchestras and Britten's Canticles at the Wiener Konzerthaus.
Recent and forthcoming engagements include the title-role in Hasse's Piramo e Tisbe for Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci, the title-role in Bontempi's Il Paride for the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music with L'Arpeggiata under Christina Pluhar, the title-role in Handel's Rinaldo under Ruben Jais, Ottone in Vivaldi's Griselda for Pinchgut Opera, Nerone in Monteverdi's L'incorinazione di Poppea for both Teatro Villamarta and Teatro Caldern, concerts for the Risr kammermusikkfest, The Brodsky Quartet, Ian Bostridge, Det Norske Kammerorkester, and Le Concert d'Astre under Emmanuelle Ham.
