As part of the Sydney International Arts Series, the Art Gallery of NSW will host the most significant Picasso exhibition ever held in Australia.
Over 150 important paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings created by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) have come from the artist's personal collection.
The exhibition is drawn from the permanent collection of the Musée National Picasso, Paris, the largest and most significant renowned repository of the artist's works in the world.
The exhibition, part of a world tour and exclusive to Sydney, will capture every phase of his extraordinary career, including masterpieces from his Blue, Rose, Expressionist, Cubist, Neoclassical and Surrealist periods.
