What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to receive updates from websites.
The Showbiz RSS feed means you will always be up-to-date on the latest shows as they go on sale. 


How do RSS Feeds work?

RSS feeds displays information on your preferred web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox), homepage (iGoogle or My Yahoo page) or email program (Microsoft Outlook) from the initial online information source (Showbiz).


How do I set-up my Showbiz RSS Feed?

Adding Showbiz RSS Feeds to Your Internet Browser

If you would like to add the Showbiz RSS feed to Internet Explorer 7, Firefox or Safari, click here
The browser will then save your Showbiz RSS feed within your favourites or bookmarks.

Then, to access your Showbiz RSS Feed, just visit your homepage and the Showbiz Now on Sale information will already be displayed and will always remain up to date.


Adding Showbiz RSS Feeds to Your Email Browser
Microsoft Outlook 2007
To add the RSS feed to Outlook 2007:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
  2. On the RSS Feeds tab, click New.
  3. In the New RSS Feed dialog box, type the url http://www.showbiz.com.au/rss.aspx or copy (CTRL + C) and paste (CTRL+V)  the URL of the RSS Feed. Click Add.
  4. Click OK.

Your Showbiz RSS Feed will then be displayed within your RSS Feed folder in your personal folders within Outlook.

Newsgator is currently one of the most popular Newsreaders. There is a range of newsreaders available, and different newsreaders work on different operating systems, so choose one that you like and that will work with your computer.   
Try a quick search for "RSS newsreader" or visit the Google RSS directory.
